President Trump and Mad Dog Mattis waste no time taking on the Islamic State. The US Military launched a whopping 31 air strikes on ISIS high command, including an air strike that may have critically injured or killed the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi al-Husseini al-Hashimi al-Qurashi.
Coalition forces conducted 31 air strikes consisting of 55 engagements against ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Some of the strikes occurred in Al Bab, Syria where the Turkish army and rebel forces are brutally fighting house to house and field to field with ISIS. the air strike there took out an ISIS artillery piece.
Near Ar Raqqah 22 air strikes destroyed 9 fighting positons, two tunnels, two tanks, an IED Factory, and an ISIS headquarters. It also surpressed 3 ISIS tactical units.
Near Dayr Az Zawr in Syria one strike took out two oil well heads.
In Iraq, vehicles, a vehicular IED factory, a tank, multiple fighting positions, and a headquarters were bombed. One of these strikes is now being said to have critically injured the terrorist sultan of ISIS.
