Inspired By Letter, Brave Evelyn Yang Comes Public About Being Victim Of Sexual Assault
Evelyn Yang is coming forward with something difficult for any woman to admit to; she was a victim of sexual assault by her OB-GYN. She made the revelation in an interview with CNN in an exclusive for the media outlet.
It started after a letter to her husband from a supporter, inspired by the speeches he’s given where he mentions that women entrepreneurs don’t get enough support.
The woman was going to press charges against an investor in her company, thanks to Andrew.
“That was enough for her to make this life-altering move, and that was just so powerful. I remember reading that letter and others and saying, ‘I feel you. I wish I could reach out to you and tell you I understand. I have my own story,'” Evelyn Yang said to CNN.
Evelyn kept it a secret from even her closest family members.
But the letter from the supporter, along with the overwhelming public support voters have shown towards their son who has autism, empowered her to come forward.
