Seattle’s Socialist House Rep Member Endorses Bernie Sanders Today

Pramila Jayapala, the U.S. house of representatives member from District 7 in Washington, has come out to officially endorse Bernie Sanders for president of the United States.

Pramila enjoys widespread support from the US communist party, from public statements by leading party members supporting her.

In 2019 she co-founded a bill that would have tax payers pay off all student debt and make college free for all. She’s also held rallies in support of illegal immigration and opening the borders.

She’s been endorsed by Our Revolution, an organization that supports communist and socialist candidate for office.

Pramila Jayapala said in a telaphone interview Sunday with the Washington Post that Sanders has “he has a clarity on policy prescriptions that goes right to the heart of what working people need.”

“What I feel we need is a candidate who is entirely authentic about what’s wrong and steadfast about it and can rally people to believe he can trust them,” she said. “Bernie has that. I can feel Bernie beating Trump.”

She also helped indian socialist City Council candidate Kshama Sawant get elected too. Kshama is more openly socialist than the congresswoman is however. Kshama is a member of the Socialist Alternative Party.
