Minneapolis Votes To Join Mogadishu, Somalia in Disbanding Police Force
Minneapolis has voted to completely disband their police force. It is unclear what exactly they are going to do instead. There are no cities in the world without a police force, though there were points in history where cities lacked police forces for a period of unrest or instability. More to come on this as it develops.
Earlier this week, the Mayor of Minneapolis was told to go home by protesters for refusing to say he would dismantle the police.
