GOP threatens to impeach Joe Biden over Ukraine if he wins the Presidency
Joni Ernst told reporters today that she and her Republican colleagues are planning on starting an impeachment of their own.
If Joe Biden were to win the Democratic nomination, and win the Presidency, day 1 would be moves to “Impeach 46”
This is what happens when you turn impeachment into a political weapon. Now that this pandoras box has been opened, any Democrat will likely be impeached by Republicans, and vice versa depending on the balance of power in the House.
According to BLoomberg news:
“Joe Biden should be very careful what he’s asking for because, you know, we can have a situation where if it should ever be President Biden, that immediately, people, right the day after he would be elected would be saying, ‘Well, we’re going to impeach him.’”
