Bernie releases his tax returns and his supporters are horrified at what they learned about the Socialist Senator

He was the new Karl Marx, or Lenin of the Democrat party, promising that he would fight for the working man, since he too was a working man.

But the story Bernie is selling doesn’t match up to his own income, which shows the socialist Senator is actually part of the top 1%

He makes $200,000 right off the bat as a Senator. Should politicians even be paid? Does this make sense? Perhaps they should not receive any income since they are supposed to be community servants.

The founding fathers didn’t take a salary.

It wasn’t for many years before congress got a salary.

President Trump makes $450,000 a year as President but donates it all to charity.

Obama used it for his own selfish needs.

Though his annual income of $200,000 still makes him one of the least wealthy senators, “the former Democratic presidential candidate made some $858,750 off book royalties alone last year,” Newsweek reports. “Combined with his Senate salary, he likely cleared $1 million in earnings.”

That would place Sanders — whose website says that “the issue of wealth and income inequality is the great moral issue of our time, it is the great economic issue of our time, and it is the great political issue of our time” — in the unusual position of being among the top 1 percent of earners in the U.S.
