China has 1 lab that researches viruses for warfare. It’s in Wuhan.
China only has one laboratory in the entire country that handles biological viruses for warfare. And out of the thousands of cities in the country, it’s located in Wuhan. That’s right, the city where the Coronavirus originated in.
Recently after the outbreak became obviously uncontainable, the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology released a new directive titled: “Instructions on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that handle advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus.”
The Chinese government basically admitted that the virus came from a lab.
And also in mid February, Chinese leader Xi gave a speech in which he mentioned the need for improving lab security to prevent future outbreaks. If this virus spawned at a fish market, why would lab security have anything to do with this?
Wuhan’s National Biosafety Laboratory is part of the Wuhan institute of virology.
