NYC went from threatening jews with arrest for funerals to encouraging antifa protesters Who Riot

New York pulled a big 180 in their social distancing policies. Mayor Deblasio was so frustrated with hasidic jews in the city violating social distancing, he ordered the police to arrest them if they conducted any more large gatherings for funerals.

Now with protests and riots bresking out across the city, he’s come out completely in support of them.

“To everyone protesting and expressing that anger and pain, please remember how important it is to protest peacefully. Please remember that we’re in the middle of a pandemic. We have to do all we can to protect each other. Everyone out there has a responsibility.” He said on Twitter

This was in start contrast to his previous attitude when it was jewish residents mass gathering.
