Democrat Rep Says Facebook And Twitter Are Bias In Favor Of Conservatives

A Democratic Rep has made the outlandish claim that Facebook and twitter are biased in favor of conservatives. The bias comes as a surprise to many Republicans and conservatives who are leaving twitter in droves for the free speech app Parley.

‘Today, it seems there is less of a bias against conservatives and rather a bias for conservatives.’ Democrat Rep Janice Schakowsky from Illinois said during a committee hearing on trade and commerce.

“Don’t be fooled by made-up claims of bias against conservatives. Today, it seems there is less of a bias against conservatives and rather a bias for conservatives.” She said with all seriousness.

This is all inspite of repeated investigations by independent outlets that discover facebook and twitter routinely target conservatives at much higher rates than liberals on their platform.

This week, multiple high profile conservative and libertarian voices were banned from the Facebook platform for participating in organizing a rally in Seattle for July 4th.
